Stephen Robert TAYLOR, age 54, of Town of LaGrange, Wisconsin, passed away on March 26, 2010, at his home.
Stephen was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on March 28, 1955, the son of Robert and Beatrice (Kuhnke) Taylor. Stephen attended Whitewater High School. On August 10, 2001, Stephen married Christine Schwanke. Stephen owned and operated Taylor’s Hwy 59 Machine Shop for 25 years. He enjoyed rebuilding old cars.
Surviving are: Wife: Christine Taylor, Town of LaGrange, WI, Step-Daughter: Amber Cook, Elkhorn, WI, Two Step-Sons: Benjamin Cook, Twin Lakes, WI, and Ethan Cook, Elkhorn, WI, Grandson: Garrett Cook, Elkhorn, WI, and Two Sisters: Beverly Taylor, Palmyra, WI, and Carol Taylor, Janesville, WI.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 2, 2010, at 11:00AM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, 550 N. Newcomb Street, Whitewater, Wisconsin.
Friends may call after 10:00AM on Friday at the Nitardy Funeral Home unitl the services.

Steve was A dear friend and will be dearly missed. My deepest condolences to his family. God bless Chris and Amber for all they have been through and done for each other!
