Malachi 3:16 says “then those who feared the Lord spoke with each other, and the Lord listened to what they said. In his presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared him and always thought about the honor of his name.”
In Bible Study, I shared with Jim that I first met Phyllis at Weight Watchers. Years later we got re-acquainted at Lakeland Nursing Home.
Many of the residents there were younger than she was. She was dependable and faithful to do what she said.
I looked forward to the days when Phyllis was volunteering at the Nursing Home. She was always gentle, patient, smiling, and one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She would give short term credit for items in the gift shoppe, even miniature candy bars.
Phyllis surely let her light shine among us.
