Raupp, Theresa C.-August 8, 2010

Theresa C. RAUPP, age 80, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, passed away, surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 8, 2010, at the Meriter Hospital, in Madison, WI following a short illiness.

Theresa was born Theresa Catherine Bugner, Jan 3, 1930, the fifth child of fourteen born to Margaret and John Bugner of Prairie View, Illinois. She married Joseph V. Raupp in Buffalo Grove, Illinois on May 4, 1949. Theresa and Joe raised their 13 children on dairy farms in northern Illinois and Whitewater, Wisconsin. She worked at Fairhaven Home in Whitewater for 7 years following her and Joe’s retirement from farming in 1998. Theresa was devoted to family and church and for pastimes enjoyed playing Euchre, gardening, knitting and Chicago Cubs games.

Surviving are: Husband: Joseph V. Raupp, Whitewater, WI, and children: Joe H ., Sister Genevieve, Terry (Denny) Taylor, Mike (Robin), Ray (Donna), Judy (Tim) Baxter, Rose (Dale) Book, Gregg , Florie (Ted) Mielke, Jerry (Mary), Larry (Natalie), Joanne (Chris) Boggs, and Frank, fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren..

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and three brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010, at 11:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Whitewater, Wisconsin with Father Thomas Perrin celebrating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, in Whitewater, Wisconsin.

Friends may call from 5-8PM on Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Whitewater and after 10AM on Saturday at the church until the mass.
