Carl Michael MARTY, age 75, of Lake Mills, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2010, at the Aurora Medical Center Summit, in Town of Summit, WI.

Carl was born in Kansas City, Missouri on October 6, 1934, the son of Carl Otto and Margaret (Dietz) Marty. He graduated from Three Lakes High School. Carl served his country in the U.S. Army from 1953 until 1956. On October 8, 1977, Carl married Jane Roubik at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Tomah, Wisconsin. For 22 years, Carl loved driving school bus for the kids of Lakeside Lutheran High School. Carl was a member of the Abiding Shepherd Lutheran Church in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. His hobbies included ham radio, model railroads, and coaching baseball. Carl loved to fly and was a member of the Civil Air Patrol.

Surviving are: Wife: Jane Marty, Lake Mills, WI, Four Sons: Michael (Kara) Marty, Stafford, VA, Jim (Lyn) Marty, Fort Atkinson, WI, Bill (Erica) Marty, Lake Mills, WI, and Joe Marty, West Allis, WI, Grandchildren: Miranda, Jon, Tyler, Alex, Owen, Jake, Eli, and Noelle.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, September 5, 2010, at 2:00PM at Lakeside Lutheran High School, 231 Woodland Beach Road, Lake Mills, Wisconsin with Rev. Nathan Krause officiating.

Friends may call after Noon on Sunday at Lakeside Lutheran High School until the services.
