The funniest, most caring man I’ve ever known. My life is infinitely better for having him as a grandfather. He will be missed immensely.

Please acept my deepest sympathy for I too know the pain of losing someone you love. May your family find comfort as I have in knowing that our loving heavenly Father promises us that very soon, all those in the ‘memorial tombs’ will hear the voice of his only-begotten son Jesus and ‘come out’ by means of the resurrection. (John 5:28,29) What a wonderful day that will be!

    Dear Aunt Sissy and family,

My deepest sympathies on Pete’s death. I was out of town and unable to attend the funeral, but I offered mass for him on Monday. He was a wonderful man and an important member of our family for so many years.

    Love,
    Ed
