Kathy Jo Cooper, age 46, of Watertown, WI passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at her home.
Kathy was born in Richland Center, Wisconsin, the daughter of Burr and Marlene (Ott) Cooper.
Surviving are: Her children: Angelica Cooper, West Allis, WI, Keesha Merath, Whitewater, WI, and Alex Merath, Juneau, WI, Her siblings: William Cooper, Oklahoma, Barbara (Scott) Kienbaum, Whitewater, WI, and Timothy Cooper, Oklahoma.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at 11:00 AM at the Nitardy Funeral Homes, 1008 Madison Ave.,Fort Atkinson,WI with Rev. Jerald Wendt officiating.
Friends may call after 10AM on Tuesday at the funeral home until the time of the service.

Hearing that Kathy had passed away was truly sad news for me. We had been friends in college and had a lot of good times and talks. It is so unfortunate that we often lose track of our friends only find them again under these tragic circumstances.
My heartfelt sympathies go out to Kathy’s entire family: her three children, sister Barb, her husband, and Kathy’s brothers. May the Lord comfort you all during this difficult time.

My heart goes out to Kathys family. I am truly blessed that I got to know her. She was so proud of her children. Goodbye my friend see you again someday. Love Michelle
