We had the privilege of sitting just below Clay and Mike at the Packers games for many years. His football expertise and witty commentary was always appreciated and enjoyed. Separately, when I starting working at UW-Whitewater, Clay took me under his wing and made me feel at home and a member of the Whitewater community. Both my dad (Scott) and I always looked forward to seeing Clay at Lambeau field. He was a true gentleman and his presence at the games will be missed.

Sincerely,
Ryan Mills – Boston and Scott Liebl (Doc) – Oconto Falls

Droullard Family,
I thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Droullard as my Calculus professor at UW-Whitewater. He had a special affection for me as I was a park ranger during my college years and we often discussed fishing. He was definitely one of the most OUTSTANDING educators in my life. He made it relavant, a motivation to excel, and he made learring FUN! He also had me tutor the football players which was rather nice. I know losing him is a sorrow very deep in your hearts, but remember the great memories to cherish, and he is probably fishing with St. Peter and a huge smile on his face!
God Bless!

Clayton was my freshman football coach in the fall of 1949 and my varsity coach thru 1953. We didn't realize he was only 6 years older or less than the players he was coaching. It is amazing how much respect we had for him then and now. He was certainly a leader. It was always a special ocassion when Coach would come back to Morningside College for the MCLUB Meetings and tell stories about how great we were. He could make us feel as if we were All Americans when in fact he was the All American in our lives. There is no question that Coach Droullard had great influence in the lives of all the people he touched. He will be missed, but not forgotten.

A truly great man land leader and an inspiration to me. He was my favorite teacher in college. He helped me thru a very difficult mathematics class with spending extra time with me. He also lived three doors down from where i grew up and was a great neighbor.
Dear Mrs. Droullard. I am so sorry to hear about Clayton's death. He was my math teacher at Morningside College while I was there from Sept. '48 'til my graduation in May '51. I was his influence that prompted me after serving in the Navy during the Korean War to go to graduate school at Wisc. U. I received my Master's in August '54. I know what you are going through as I lost my wife in Oct. '09. Time helps but you never stop missing them. I wish you God's blessing and may the peace of the Lord be with you as you continue life's journey. In Christian love, Bob Barks

Clayton excelled as an instructor at UWW, and he was an even better man. I spent many good hours with Clayton talking about Whitewater, his service club involvement, his family/my family, and the mark he made on me. His passing leaves a void for those who knew him, and his legacy lives on in the good works he was part of AND the quality people he was always encouraging. Your family will be in our prayers.
